VASER Shape Cellulite Treatment Approved by FDA!
On September 14, 2010, Sound Surgical Technologies, which was founded in 1998, introduced a new non-invasive device called the VASER Shape MC1. The new device is designed to help get rid of unwanted fat through a new massage and ultrasound system. It has also been found to be beneficial in the removal of cellulite. Before launching this new device the company had already made its mark in the fat removal arena through its Lipo System.
The VASER Shape was approved during May 2010 by the FDA, for a handful of purposes, including cellulite treatment. The device was cleared to be used by doctors for relief from minor aches and pains in the muscles, but also from muscle spasms. The MC1 was also approved to be used to help improve blood circulation in patients, as well as temporarily reducing the dimpling effect that cellulite leaves behind. One of the most outstanding features of the unit is its ability to be used on its own or with other procedures to reduce any pain a patient is having from an operation, but it can also help reduce swelling.
The VASER Shape MC1, used for years by physicians outside of the United States, allows doctors to focus on the problem areas in patients. Targeting the specific problem areas enables the tissues to remain unaffected by the procedure, but also helps deliver the best results. The device allows doctors to structure each treatment based on a patients individual needs by choosing the right hand piece. Accompanying the device are numerous hand pieces and each one delivers a unique combination of lymphatic massage and ultrasonic diathermy. Doctors also have the option of choosing between an aggressive therapy that is used in people who are looking for body contouring without the risks of surgery and the postoperative session, which is quiet gentle and is designed to help reduce any pain or swelling that comes from having surgery.
